The 14 days around Uganda wildlife safari is a two weeks tour and you will explore most treasures Uganda is well known for. Let it be a family trip, honeymoon, family or with friends; this 14 days tour should not skip your mind.
You will visit Sezibwa falls, Mabira Forest, source of Nile, Sipi falls for abseiling, Murchison falls National Park which is the largest National Park with 76 species of mammals and 451 species of birds, it is also known for shoebill stork and powerful Murchison falls on Victoria Nile which divides the park into two, Kibale National Park is for chimpanzee tracking and discovering the other 12 primate species hosted in this national park. Proceed with a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park for the boat cruise on Kazinga Channel and Game drive which will enable you see lions, tree climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, and many other species. Gorilla trekking is the highlight of this tour and you will be briefed and escorted to the forest to search for the rare Mountain Gorillas depending on where they slept the previous night. Lake Bunyonyi will be for leisure and relaxation.
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport and transfer to Kampala (2 hours drive)
Upon your arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be welcomed by our office representative and later you will be transferred to Kampala for dinner and overnight stay at Latitude 0 Degree/ Speke Resort and Conference Centre/ Mestil Hotel Kampala/ Speke Hotel/ Dolphine Suites/ Bushpig Backpackers. Day 2: Transfer to Jinja and Visit the source of the Nile (2 hours drive)
After early morning breakfast, you will be driven to Jinja with a stopover at Sezibwa falls with a culture related to Buganda Kingdom for a guided nature walk. Proceed for Zip lining at Mabira Forest, go past the new Nile bridge and visitthe source of River Nile by boat with a lunch break/. Later you will proceed to Mbale. Overnight at Mbale Resort Hotel/ Mt. Elgon Hotel. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Visit Sipi Falls, Abseiling and Transfer to Kampala (5 hours drive)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Sipi falls which is a series of three waterfalls in Eastern Uganda in the district of Kapchorwa, northeast of Sironko and Mbale lying on the slopes of Mount Elgon National Park. Abseiling is It is a sport where you descend down the slopes of the steep rocks with a friction device and ropes. It will take you about 3 hours to hike and slope, take along a camera and it will be full of the stunning Sipi falls. You will return toMbale for lunch as you prepare to be driven back to Kampala. Day 4: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park (6 hours drive)
Drive to Murchison falls National Park with astopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking. It is conveniently located north of Kampala covering 176km on the Gulu highway towards Murchison Falls National Park. This is the only place where you can see the rhinos in Uganda in the wild. Later after lunch start your panoramic drive to Murchison falls National Park known for its Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop. This is also where you can site 76 species of animals and 451 species of birds. Enjoy the fresh air, views and treasures of Murchison falls. Day 5 of the 14 days around Uganda wildlife safari: Murchison fall game drive and boat cruise
Have your breakfast amidst singing birds as your driver guide is waiting for you to start your morning game drive. Savannah in northern bank of River Nile is very extensive and uneven. It is quite exciting to search animals and birds in such an environment. The ranger guide will spot for you Elephants, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the elusive leopard. After lunch, you will ascend the Victoria Nile up to the bottom of the Murchison Fall by boat where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop. It is also home of many water birds, hippos and Nile Crocodiles, also high chance of seeing elephants, buffaloes, and many antelopes. Leave your boat and hike to the top of falls and see where waterforces through a 7-meter canyon dropping 45 meters with a thunderous roar sound. Day 6 of the 14 days around Uganda wildlife safari: Murchison falls NP – Kibale National Park (7 hours drive)
After your delicious breakfast, you will be driven to Kibale National Park via the Albertine Escapement with the outstanding views of Lake Albert and Kyoga. If time allows your next stop will be at Fort portal city for lunch just on the slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains as you proceed to Kibale National Park. Overnight at Kyaninga Lodge /Primate Lodge Kibale/ Fort Motel/ Chimpanzee Guest House.Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 7: Kibale Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (3 hours drive)
You will be driven to Kyanyanchu UWA headquarters for briefing before you are assigned a ranger guide to start your Chimpanzee trekking at 8:00am. Enjoy seeing the closest creatures to human beings and it will take half day enjoying this adventurous activity. It is also an opportunity of seeing other primates like Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, phoestes, and butterflies. Later you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park with the en-route game drive. Queen Elizabeth NP is the second largest national park in Uganda with 95 species of mammals and 600 species of bird. Day 8 of the 14 days around Uganda wildlife safari: Game drive and Boat safari on Kazinga Channel
Leave your accommodation in the morning. Drive through the vast savannah, and look for your favorite animals, with a help of experienced park ranger guide. Enjoy observing the animals in vast savannah at the foot of Rwenzori Mountains. You will be able to spot leopards, elephants, lions, Uganda kobs, Topi, hyenas, and big herds of buffaloes, large families of banded mongoose, warthogs, bushbucks and waterbucks. The afternoon will be spent on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel which connects the water flow from Lake George to Lake Edward. The channel attracts a varied range of animals and birds, with one of the world’s largest concentration of hippos and numerous Nile crocodiles, It is also an opportunity of seeing the elephants, Buffaloes and many antelopes on the its shores quenching their thirst and cooling their bodies. Day 9: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (6 hours drive)
Have early morning breakfast ready for your second game drive on the Kasenyi plains as you proceed for another mini game drive at Ishasha sector as you keep your eyes on acacia trees for tree climbing lions.If you have missed any of your favorite in first game drive, tell them to your ranger guide and you may spot them this time. Later you proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is famous for its Mountain Gorillas. It has rich ecosystem, 95 species of mammal and 345 species of bird. Overnight at Buhoma Lodge/Gorilla Safari Lodge/ Chameleon Hill Lodge/ Lake Mutanda Lodge/ Silverback Lodge/ engage Lodge/ Rushaga Gorilla Camp/ Gorilla Valley Lodge/ Trekkers Tavern Lodge/ Buhoma Community Bandas or a similar lodge. Day 10 of the 14 days around Uganda wildlife safari: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
Leave your room and drive to UWA briefing point ready for the Gorilla trek starting at 8:00am. This great ape is endangered and only 1,063 individuals remained in the whole world. Bwindi is a home for its ¾ world population. It takes between 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the Gorillas from the previous day trek. Remember to carry the rain jacket, drinking water, jungle boots and your packed lunch and every moment of the Gorilla trekking is unique and amazing as you watch them playing, eating, coupling, and the youngsters swinging on the tree branches. This is a lifetime experience and incomparable with any other East African adventure. Day 11: Relaxation at Lake Bunyonyi
Relaxing and leisure at Lake Bunyonyi. Overnight and meals at Birdnest Resort Lake Bunyonyi/ Bunyonyi Safari Resort/ Arcadia Cottages/ Overland Camp Bunyonyi. Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 12: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Lake Mburo National Park (5 hours drive)
Drive to Lake Mburo National Park with lunch stop at Mbarara. A must visit of Igongo Cultural Museum for the outstanding Ankole cultural history. Proceed to Lake Mburo National Park for the boat cruise and you will see many hippos, crocodile and water birds inhabiting Lake Mburo. Overnight at Mihingo Lodge/ Arcadia Cottages/ Mantana Tented Camp or at the Eagles Nest lodge; Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 13: Morning game drive and drive to Kampala (4.5 hours drive)
Moving with a pop up roof safari vehicle, look for animals and birds in bushy savannah. Some herbivores like zebra, giraffes, buffalo, waterbuck, impala and eland among others inhabit here, and some cannot be seen in other National parks in Uganda. Later, you will be driven back to Kampala with a photo stop at Equator in Kayabwe. Day 14: Kampala – Entebbe Airport (2 hours drive), end of 14 days around Uganda wildlife safari
The morning of the last day is free. Please advise our driver guide the place you want to visit (Kampala city tour or shopping).Please make sure to leave Kampala in time before the departure time of your flight back home. Meal Plan: Breakfast.
