3 Days Mikumi National Park Safari highlights
The 3 Days Mikumi National Park Safari involves the use of the ferry to and from Zanzibar to Dar es salaam. This tour will excite you with beautiful views of the ocean and wildlife at the park including elephant, giraffe, buffalo, Burchell’s zebra, sable, eland, Liechtenstein’s hartebeest, lion, leopard, spotted hyena, and jackal.
Day 1: Zanzibar – Dar Es Salaam Mikumi National Park
Early morning breakfast then you will be picked from your place of stay. If you stay in stone town, you will be picked at 06:00 and if you are staying at beach hotels away from stone town then you are picked at 05:00 and transferred to Ferry point. The morning ferry departs at 07:00 arriving Dar es Salaam at 09:00. Our driver guide will pick you up and drive to Mikumi National Park. It is located between the Uluguru Mountains and the Lumango range, Mikumi is the fourth largest national park in Tanzania. The late afternoon until evening will be for game drive and guide will help you spot elephants, Lions, giraffes, elands, zebras, hippos and many more. Overnight at Udzungwa falls lodge Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Full Day game drive at Mikumi National Park
Wake up and have a cup of coffee, then head for the morning game drive. Return to the lodge for lunch and have a relaxed free afternoon. Get out of the lodge to go and enjoy an evening game drive. This is the highlight of this park and you will spot elephant, giraffe, buffalo, Burchell’s zebra, sable, eland, Liechtenstein’s hartebeest, lion, leopard, spotted hyena, and jackal. Overnight at Udzungwa falls lodge Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Mikumi – Dar es salaam – Zanzibar
After breakfast, you will depart from your lodge to Dar es Salaam to catch the last ferry to Zanzibar. On arrival our driver will pick you from the ferry terminal to your hotel in Zanzibar. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch.
