Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Selous National Park (5 hours drive)
Your driver guide will pick you from your place of residence or Airport and later you will be transferred to Seleous National Park. It has been recognized and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1982 due to its wildlife diversity and undisturbed nature. Upon your arrival check-in and the rest of time will be for leisure. Overnight at Selous Serena Camp Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2 of 8 Days Selous Game Reserve Mikumi & Ruaha National Park: Full day game drive at Selous National Park
Morning breakfast and then get ready for the morning and evening game drive. The park has high concentration of elephants with good area for viewing wildlife. In this encounter, you will be able able to see elephants, rhinos, hippos, eland, lion, leopard, African wild dogs, hyena, Greater Kudu and crocodiles. Overnight at Selous Serena Camp Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Selous National Park – Mikumi National Park (6 hours drive)
After breakfast drive to Mikumi National Park. Picnic lunches will be provided at midday. Dinner and overnight at the lodge in Mikumi. It is located between the Uluguru Mountains and the Lumango range, Mikumi is the fourth largest national park in Tanzania. The late afternoon until evening will be for game drive and guide will spot elephants, Lions, giraffes, elands, zebras, hippos and many more. Overnight at Udzungwa falls lodge Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4 of 8 Days Selous Game Reserve Mikumi & Ruaha National Park: Full day game drive at Mikumi National Park
Wake up and have a cup of coffee, then head for the morning game drive, back for lunch and then the evening game drive. This is the highlight of this park and you will spot elephant, giraffe, buffalo, Burchell’s zebra, sable, eland, Liechtenstein’s hartebeest, lion, leopard, spotted hyena, and jackal. Overnight at Udzungwa falls lodge Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: Mikumi National Park – Ruaha National Park (6 hours drive)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ruaha National Park. It is now the largest National Park in Tanzania. It is known for its great Ruaha River and it is rich with flora and fauna. Upon your arrival check in your room. The afternoon will be spent on leisure and relaxation at your lodge. Overnight at Jabali RidgeMeal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 6 & 7: Full day Game drive at Ruaha National Park
Early morning breakfast and then head out to enjoy the two day game drives in this mighty National Park. The encounter will expose you to the several treasures of this National Park and among which include elephants, lions, buffalos, African wild dog, greater and lesser kudu, leopards, lions, cheetah, impala, bushbuck, giraffes and occasionally sable and roan antelopes. Overnight at Jabali Ridge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 8: Flight from Ruaha National Park to Dar es Salaam, end of 8 Days Selous Game Reserve Mikumi & Ruaha National Park Safari
Early morning breakfast and then you will be transferred to Msembe Airstrip to catch up with your flight to Dar es Salaam. It departs 8:30am arriving at Dar es Salaam at 11:00am. You will either connect with your outbound flight or be picked by our driver to your booked accommodation in Dar es Salaam. Meal Plan: Breakfast.
