4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari And Queen Elizabeth National Park Tour highlights
The 4 days combines Queen Elizabeth National Park for tree climbing lions, Kazinga channel boat cruise and you will see several species of animals. The trip will be blown off as you encounter the long waited rare Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Day 1 of the 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking And Queen Elizabeth National Park Tour: Kampala – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (10 hours’ drive)
The driver guide picks you up early in the morning for the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a stopover at Equator for photos and Mbarara for Lunch with Igongo cultural Museum visit. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is famous for its Mountain Gorilla. It has rich ecosystem comprising of 95 species of mammal and 345 species of bird. As you arrive in the evening time and checking at your lodge, rest memorizing your long waited encounter with the mountain Gorillas. Overnight at Buhoma Lodge or Similar Accommodation Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
Leave your room and drive to UWA briefing point ready for the Gorilla trek starting at 8:00am. This great ape is endangered and only 1,063 individuals remained in the whole world. Bwindi is a home for its ¾ world population. It takes between 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the Gorillas from the previous day trek. Remember to carry the rain jacket, drinking water, jungle boots and your packed lunch and every moment of the Gorilla trekking is unique and amazing as you watch them playing, eating, coupling, and the youngsters swinging on the tree branches. This is a lifetime experience and incomparable with any other East African adventure. Overnight at Buhoma Lodge/ similar Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3 of the 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking And Queen Elizabeth National Park Tour: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park (6 hours’ drive)
After your early morning breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is the second largest national park in Uganda with 95 species of mammal and 600 species of bird. keep your eyes on acacia for tree climbing lions. After lunch prepare for the evening boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel which leads the water flow from Lake George to Lake Edward. It’s a habitat for Hippos, Crocodiles, and water birds like Pelicans, Storks, Herons, Kingfishers etc. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kampala (6 hours’ drive)
Leave your accommodation early morning. Drive through the vast savannah for a mini game drive to observe the animals at the foot of Rwenzori Mountains. You will be able to spot leopards, elephants, lions, Uganda kobs, Topi, hyenas, and big herds of buffaloes, large families of banded mongoose, warthogs, bushbucks and waterbucks. Later you will be driven back to Kampala or Entebbe airport to catch up with your flight back home. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch.
